Mold Avoidance Coaching

Mold Avoidance Coaching evolved out of my own experience of becoming very ill from toxic mold exposure.

I learned the Strategic Mold Avoidance method of Erik Johnson, author of “Back from the Edge”, who also became ill from mold, and developed this protocol based on his Army biowarfare training. This strategy enables me to assess environments using my own senses and manage exposures.

I’ve also learned alot from Lisa Petrison, who trained with Erik, and wrote the books “A Beginner’s Guide to Mold Avoidance” and “Erik on Avoidance”.

On my journey of recovery, I've met many others struggling with mold and environmental illness, who asked me to teach them the mold avoiding practices. And so I began coaching based on what I’ve learned and my experience.

If you have been going in endless circles, trying different remedies and experimental treatments and not making progress, this may be the missing piece that you need. Locations are a key factor in recovery.

As your coach, I can help you learn the core mold avoiding concepts, so that you can:

-effectively manage the challenges of leaving an environment that is making you sick

-implement the mold avoidance practices

-manage contamination and decontamination

-connect with and listen to your senses as your primary tool

-navigate environments to perceive those that are good for you and avoid those that aren't

-make good choices to conserve your resources

I also will share with you my knowledge of the logistics and practical aspects of camping, hotels, and traveling on the road.

Whatever you're struggling with related to mold illness and mold avoiding, I will listen intuitively and offer suggestions. And I will refer you to additional resources that may help and connect you with a community of others with this illness who are practicing mold avoidance.
